The following list is a compilation of some of the most well-known banks that operate globally. Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and Barclays are all four examples of large banking institutions that offer a variety of services including personal banking, commercial banking, and investment banking.

Brokerages provide advice to individuals about investing in securities like stocks and bonds, while investment advisors help families manage their investments.
Financial advisers have a wide range of expertise; some specialize in retirement planning while others focus on insurance or estate planning.
Forex
In finance, Forex is a market where currencies are traded. Forex is a buy and sell market. The word Forex comes from the word foreign exchange. Forex is an international market that deals with about $1 trillion every day. It’s one of the biggest markets in the world, second only to securities markets.
Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin etc.)
A type of digital money that uses encryption to regulate the creation of new units and, unlike traditional currencies, it is not regulated or controlled by a central bank. It is a decentralized currency which means that no single institution controls it. Most cryptocurrencies are designed to gradually decrease production of currency, placing an ultimate cap on the total amount of cryptocurrency that will ever be in circulation.
Bitcoin was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto (a pseudonym) and released as open-source software in 2009.
Venture Capitalists (VC’s)
VC’s can give you funds for your business, but it comes with strings attached. They want a say in how your company is run and want a share of its profits. They are more concerned with how much money they can make from their investment then if your company succeeds or not.
Hedge Funds
A hedge fund is an investment fund that pools capital from investors and invests in stocks, bonds, currencies, or other financial instruments. Hedge funds typically aim to deliver a higher return than what’s available from low-risk investments such as U.S. Treasury securities. The term hedge refers to the use of hedging strategies with these investments to reduce any market risk
