Turtle Beach In-Ear Power Stealth Wireless 800 Elite Gaming Headset Basically, Turtle Beach is marketed as the cream of the gaming and gaming headsets. And they deliver from the get-go.

The Turtle Beach Elite 800 is designed for the PS4, but works with Xbox One via a standard Microsoft Chat adapter (not included), and has full Dolby Digital support for an optical cable. It can be used with PS3 games , PC and mobile. But it has limited performance.

Our first impression of the Elite 800 was the look and feel of a great value device.

The first thing you notice when you open the Elite 800 headset is the size, it’s big and very heavy (like most Turtle Beach headphones). Their dress code is also relaxed.

The head is of good quality and the magnetic charging dock is a useful feature. Don’t mess with the cables. (Apart from the optical cables USB and PS4 from the station) Very important. Especially if you have a wired Turtle Beach device.

The Elite 800 ear cups have soft leather seats. Also, headphones can be connected.

They are adjustable to fit most sizes. These Turtle Beach headphones are in-ear headphones. Then your ears won’t have to carry as much weight. And it feels solid and solid

For the purpose of this review we spent some time on PS4 and PC, tested it on Xbox One with Microsoft’s adapter and it works fine. Very easy to set up. The manuals and documentation are easy to follow.

Inside the box

In addition to the headset, the Turtle Beach Elite 800 also features a dock for charging and streaming. Optical cable (you’ll have to buy another one because it’s optical and optical.) 2 micro-USB cables, 1x 3.5mm male cable header, and all original manuals, warranties and documentation, neatly packaged by beach style Turtle headpiece.

build

The construction of the headset is excellent Turtle Beach uses good materials and good quality leather earplugs. A sturdy charging base and magnets hold the headset in place. A nice touch that makes the headset feel more than your average headset. TB Elite 800 side view

On each side of the cup you will find function keys where you can adjust settings such as volume, mute, volume preset mode. The mute and microphone buttons are more sensitive and less tactile to the touch. We guarantee that it will result in unexpected keystrokes. Once you learn to step up to the plate you’ll be less likely to hold back on something you didn’t plan for. But you will accidentally click on something. And it is always the most important moment of the mission! If there is one major flaw with this headset. This is certainly a mistake. We haven’t tried the different plates yet. We don’t know the plates. Can you help mitigate this?

convenience

Like most Turtle Beach headphones, the Turtle Beach Elite 800 wireless headphones are ideal for small to medium sized headphones. And as I said in the Turtle Beach Headphone Power 500P review if you have a big head. You may feel discomfort for a long time.Note that Turtle Beach uses the same format for 400P and 500P with 800P which is larger than average.

On your head, these Turtle Beach headphones are big but cute.

It depends on how you use it. They can pass good headphones. But the size is inconsistent. Nor does it replace any particular headphones you have.

feature

The Turtle Beach Elite 800 has many features and impressive effects that set it apart from the 400P and 500P models.

Active muting is good, but not as good as we’ve heard. It’s also great for capturing noisy bus noise. And we don’t have too many complaints about active muting. Benefit from the DTS:X 7.1 surround sound technology that gives you an amazing audio experience.

You can also manage incoming calls from your phone and enjoy a more stable connection.

However, this significantly reduced battery life. The built-in microphone is more problematic. But overall, it has potential. Some complained online about my misunderstanding. Also, I can’t adjust the location of the microphone once it’s installed. (Depends on where the microphone is made)

(it was “too loud”) so that my colleagues could hear it better and definitely clearer. This can be done through the PS4 settings (in the tools section). I sometimes scream because I can’t hear well due to bad active audio monitoring.

Ear cups are interchangeable and you can check out some great ear cups at Turtle Beach – http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/accessories/speaker-plates.

Turtle Beach Elite 800 Premium 4 Wireless Headphones

The Turtle Beach Elite 800 headphones are 12 to 15 feet wide, fit around walls and more. You can’t leave without stopping the sound. It’s on par with most wireless headphones, but frankly, you could be forgiven for expecting too much.

I was angry

Turtle Beach 800 Elite is great and works great with PS4. If you’re using it on a PC, you’ll need a good sound card with Dolby Digital Live to get the DTS:X feature.

The surround sound technology used is no gimmick, and while the DTS:X 7.1 surround sound can certainly be heard in action, it’s not the true 7.1 surround sound you get from most audio drivers.

When it’s not in use, there’s very little background noise, sound is muted or muted.

This isn’t a major problem, but it would be nice to alleviate it somehow (if you have a solution, let me know in the comments below).

Turtle Beach Elite 800 Premium Wireless Headphones

One of the best features of these headphones is the multiple preset sounds that can be accessed via the Force Hub on your Android smartphone or tablet. Whether you’re listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, you can switch between different sound modes, and these modes have additional volume options to turn up the volume just like Superman. Turtle Beach is missing the mark when it comes to delivering a premium audio experience.

Really, you’ll need to use more versions of each preset to test this out. The sound is good but it absorbs all the sound heat. The treble is separate from the bass, and the bass is excellent. The Turtle Beach Ear Force 400 and Turtle Beach 500p wireless headphones have a great advantage.

Another great feature is that if you think the battery is dead, you can continue using it as a headset with a 3.5mm cable. Make sure the cable is close.

Fun cones

As already mentioned, the microphone reading is not very good, it is weak and it is difficult to hear your voice. Also, adjustments had to be made to compensate for the size of the PS4’s microphone, as the mic isn’t big enough. We expected it to be good at this price, but it’s not a big deal as the microphone works effectively.

Turtle Beach Elite members are not available in the UK (US and Canada only) and therefore cannot take advantage of the benefits on offer. TB Elite 800: Side View

Unfortunately, the Turtle Beach Ear Force Audio Hub Apple iOS app is not supported, which is a shame for non-Android users. We had to use a Samsung tablet to use it, but overall we found the app to be simple, intuitive and easy to use, although we understand that this app will have very few features now that our presets are set. Repairs are needed.

It’s very easy to accidentally activate side controls, and it can make for some awkward moments mid-game.

The left and right panels have 8 buttons with control functions that are activated with a light touch, which we’re sure most users can’t avoid. Steps can be taken to avoid this, such as keeping your head down before making any adjustments or taking breaks before playing.

Despite good connectivity to the broadcast base, we experienced frequent noise reductions for no apparent reason; We never sat more than two meters from the broadcast base. Also, a word that is rarely mentioned is a constant, which is a minor but significant point.

This is the verdict.

The Turtle Beach Elite 800 is a great pair of gaming headphones. Less dazzle, but if something bothers you more. This is the reality.
