The final tournament date of the 2022 PGA Tour season is approaching, and several top players will earn one finalist standings this week when the 2022 Scottish Open opens at Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland on Thursday. Other notable competitors in the Genesis Scottish Open include Justin Thomas (12-1), Scotty Scheffler (12-1), Xander Shaveli (18-1), Matt Fitzpatrick (18-1), and Patrick Cantlay (22-1).

Scottish Open Bets 2022

One of McClure’s Scottish Open favorites is that Will Zalatoris finished inside the top 20 of the final leaderboard at +145 odds. Zalatoris has played some great golf at times in 2022, with his best showing in the first three majors on the PGA table. The former Wake Forest team finished second in both the US Open and the PGA Championship, sixth in the Masters, and also finished second in the Farmers Insurance Open.

Playing his best golf against top competitors, Zalatoris ranks 1st on the PGA Tour in tee earned (1.035), 2nd in tee earned (1.826), seventh in tee (1.781), and 11th in tee Gained from a tee (0.633). That being said, McClure is very confident in the 25-year-old’s chances of making a solid lead to victory this week at Renaissance Club.

2022 Scottish Open head-to-head selections

One of McClure’s favorite bets this week is John Ram on US Open champ Matt Fitzpatrick in a head-to-head golf bet at -125 odds. Ram earned the first major of his career last year at the 2021 US Open, and he will be looking to add another to his resume next week at the British Open. McClure expects Barham, the world’s No. 2 player, to be contacted for his final tuning ahead of next week’s Open Championship.

The 27-year-old ranks first on the PGA Tour in strokes earned from a tee (1,106), fifth in strokes earned to a tee green (1,602), sixth in total strokes earned (1.805), and is on Well-versed in winning tournaments in Europe.
