There is not much that surprises me in the world of sports today. We’ve seen some of everything, the good, the bad and the ugly. While it’s entertaining, responding to Skip’s repeated punches pushes his agenda forward. Bayless has been trolling for two decades now. He probably can’t even believe half the crap falling out of his mouth at this point.
But these guys are still getting around in his traps, feeding on Shtik. That’s all it is anyway. This has been a Bayless act on TV back in the days cold pizzaand then take first Then. Nothing new. Just ask Chris Bosh and Galen Rose. Although it made for compelling television, this whole ordeal may have gone too far.

Tensions between Bayless and Bosh were so high that the Heat star joined Skip on First Take in 2011 to confront him over the “Bosh Spice” title. Bellis held his position until he called him Posh Spice to his face. Ultimately, I’m not sure what this meeting of minds achieved, but it was good for the ratings. In the end, that’s all Skip cares about, and it’s the main reason why it’s trolling the new generation of gamers.
Skip’s arrogance eventually led him to discussing First Take for the Ages with Rose. Bayless was destroyed at every turn by Rose, who turned the tables on Skip, the irony High school statistics. Every day in FS1, at some point, Skip and Shannon Sharpe are sure to discuss James/Lakers and Curry/Warriors. This has been especially true this season as the Warriors are back in the lead and the Lakers have stirred the joint.
No matter how well Carrey or James played, Bayliss had energy for them, and they never held back. LeBron tweeted ahead of the 2021-22 season about everyone talking about him and his teammates, how old they were, how it wouldn’t work for Russell Westbrook, and he just wanted people to keep the same “narrative energy”. It wasn’t targeting anyone in particular, but I’m sure Skip came to mind when James wrote that tweet.
Then Steve doesn’t seem to pay much attention to any of them, though he did comment on what was said about the Warriors during a short hiatus from the mountaintop. Again, he didn’t say any names, but Bayliss is certainly one of the critics this letter was intended for. Additionally, he has Draymond, who talks enough about the entire team, especially with his podcast.
Kevin Durant might be the easiest player to get into a verbal altercation on Twitter. He’s never shy about blowing anyone up, but I’m sure he’d be more than happy to set his sights on Bayless. Skip claimed for years to be a “Durant”One of the biggest fans“But that doesn’t matter to KD. He’s not a fan of Skip, no matter how many times he argues in his favour. undisputed.
With social media and how reactionary many players are today, Bayliss will be in a TV debate and trolling on social media until he stops talking. With guys like Green, Young, and KD more than willing to partner with Skip at every turn, his place is secure in the debate show scene. If players really want to ditch Skip Bayless, they should take a page out of LeBron and Steph’s playbook. Don’t say his name. Do not give him energy because he is feeding on it.
