Best Genesis Scottish Open Predictions for 2022
One big surprise the model invites at the Genesis Scottish Open 2022: Scheffler, the number 1 ranked player in the world and one of the top favorites, is stumbling and barely cracking in the top five. Schaeffler has been the most exciting player on the tour this season, racking up four wins and three runners-up. He’s scored a total of nine top ten spots this season, including a T-2 finish at the US Open in June.
However, Schaeffler has failed to break into the top ten in five of his last seven matches on the PGA Tour. In addition, Schaeffler is currently ranked 121 in driving accuracy percentage (59.35%), 135 in single drive percentage (38.48%) and 96 in overall percentage (211.8), which could cause major problems this week. It’s not a solid win-all pick, and there are much better values in the Genesis Scottish Open 2022.
Another surprise: Jordan Spieth, a 30-1 long shot, shoots hard for the title. Spieth has a much better chance of winning everything than his odds suggest, so it’s a target for anyone looking to make a huge profit. He’s quietly been one of the most exciting golfers on the PGA Tour lately, winning the RBC Heritage before finishing second on AT&T Byron Nelson.
He’s also got a Top 10 in the Charles Schwab Challenge, so he has the potential to compete this weekend. Spieth’s numbers also make him a bet at the Scottish Open, as he is inside the top 30 on the PGA Tour in total hits earned. He didn’t play in the event last season, but is ready to contend for the title this year.
