While excitement builds for the iPhone 14, we can say with complete confidence that Apple hasn’t started pre-orders for this thing just yet. But that doesn’t mean ardent fans can’t actually put their money somewhere… if they have enough of said money.
Caviar, the maker of custom iPhones, has unveiled its phone iPhone 14 . set (Opens in a new tab), with 13 different expensive courses on Apple’s upcoming smartphone. They range from the $9,500 Champagne Rose model you can see above, with stingray leather and titanium, to the $22,620 Gold Champagne Crystal model that includes plenty of gold jewelry plus nine diamonds.
Most of these are limited in operation, with only 99 or so models manufactured. You can choose whether to get the iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max version – the latter raising the price even more.
It’s worth noting that the iPhones shown in these photos may not be accurate to what the iPhone 14 will look like – it appears to be based on the iPhone 13 Pro. Caviar would likely use this mobile as a placeholder to display designs.
Caviar is no stranger to unruly, bizarre, and incredibly expensive smartphones — we’ve also seen the company make a $27,000 Steve Jobs iPhone, an $8,600 dinosaur iPhone (with a real fossil), $6,900 iPhones made from original iPhones, and many more creations bonkers for people with lots of money.
If you’re interested in these new models — and have a lot of money to burn — you can pre-order them now, but it’s not clear if you’ll receive the phone once the iPhone 14 goes on sale, or at a later time.
Analysis: Probably not the only way to get iPhone 14
If you’re super excited about the iPhone 14 but don’t have a cool $10,000 burning a hole in your pocket, you can easily ignore Caviar’s offerings.
Having these phones won’t affect the availability of the final models, and you’ll still have plenty of time to pre-order them if Apple follows its usual pattern of making them available for pre-order a week or so before you go. for sale.
If you have the money to buy those expensive iPhones — and you run out of charities you can donate or help people — you’re probably enjoying the most luxurious cell phone you’ll ever see. But there are probably better things to buy from the iPhone 14 Pro Max than gold and diamonds.
