Mike Evans has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL since entering the league in 2014. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have wide crossed 1,000 yards in each of their eight NFL seasons, an NFL record , and was a consistent presence in attack whether Tampa was advancing 2-14, or winning the Super Bowl.

Evans is already a pirate legend. He’s the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions (606), arenas (9301), and touchdowns (75). While it’s almost certain that Evans will end up in the Bucs’ honor ring one day, he’s aiming for more. He wants to be a professional Hall of Famer.

“Yes, of course,” Evans Tell Ari Alexander from KPRC2 When asked about his Hall of Fame potential. “I’m thinking about it, but obviously I’m trying to stay in the moment as much as possible. But that’s what I’m working for, you know, why not? I’m trying to be the best in the game now, and ultimately one of the best players ever, and I have the tools To do that, I’ve been very fortunate, and why shouldn’t I do it?”

It’s impressive to think of what Evans was capable of before the age of 29, someone with a lot of wheel left on the tires – especially when you consider that he’s getting at least one extra season with the great Tom Brady. Last year he had 14 career touchdowns with Brady at quarterback.

For now, it’s all about winning another Super Bowl for the Buccaneers. But where Evans is seen as among the best receivers he’s ever made, that’s always something he has in mind.
